Eyes Staring From Behind
The village Cherlina, where Vitalie spent his childhood, is about 30km away from the larger town Of Soroca. Surrounded by nature,
Cherlina is a very peaceful place. Even now, every morning, the cows that are taken out of their sheds leave the gate unattended and walk down the path to the grassy mountains.From this house .., from that house ..,from the next..,cows join in one after another mooing their moos and head for the grassy hills. Of course, with no chains.
They enjoy their time on the green pastures on the hills from morning till evening with little supervision.
What a wonderful life♪
Vitalie has been an easy mind boy from his childhood on.
Back then, it had always been the case that he dodged helping his mom and went to the mountains following a herdsman, or to the nearby riverside.
Why would he do that ?
Just to watch and STARE!
He would hunker down and from a distance, watch someone there doing his work, and watch him for hours!
When the man turns around, he notices a boy staring at him from some distance away. After a while, when he raises his hips and turns around again, the boy is still there, staring at him !
And what’s more, he is now a bit closer than a while ago.
Even at noon, he is still there, staring at him.
Finally, the man speaks to him.
“ Where is your mom, son?
“ Mommy is working in the field“.
“Well..,okay. Let’s have something to eat together “.
That was always the way that little Vitalie would make his new friends .
After the sun goes down, he returns home.
He goes home while hanging on to a cheerful trail leading to the house.
And he spots his mother worried, waiting at the gate.
What awaits him is..,
Mom’s spanking his bottom,
And, of course, Vitalie is crying!
When he was little, he had been spending a lot of time watching people.
Does that mean that he was somehow endowed with a special ability to concentrate on observing things from early in his life?
